Church for children

Children are not the church of the future — they are part of the church today. That is why we offer age-based gatherings every Sunday and a weekday club, led by regular, familiar adults.

Sunday and weekdays

  • Mini-Kirke

Ages 0–4 · every Sunday during the service

Children's songs, Bible stories at their level, fun and play for the youngest. We begin with the adults before moving to the children's own area.

  • Juniorkirke

Ages 5–school year 2 · every Sunday during the service

We sing together and hear the Bible's exciting stories — in language and at a pace suited to younger schoolchildren.

  • Tweenkirke

School years 3–7 · every Sunday during the service

We get to know one another better and explore the Bible together — with room for big questions and plenty of energy.

  • Torsdagsklub

School years 0–4 · every other Thursday (odd-numbered weeks), 5.00–6.30 pm

Games, creativity, worship and short devotions — and it is free to join. Come on your own or bring a friend.

Good to know as a parent

  • A safe environment

Regular, familiar adults welcome the children, and you sign them in and collect them yourself. If your child feels safest with you, that is of course perfectly fine too.

  • Room for the youngest

There are baby-changing facilities and a nursing area, so you can take part in the service even with a brand-new addition to the family.

  • AKBU-Vejle

Our children's and youth work is organised through AKBU-Vejle (Apostolsk Kirke's children and youth association). Membership is optional and costs DKK 125 per year — among other benefits, it provides a discount on church camp.
